INCI: Sunflowerseedamidopropyl Dimethylamine Lactate

Description: Sopal Quat 1216 is a 25% active cationic surfactant that is used primarily as a conditioner in hair care products. It is derived from a pure grade of sunflower oil which enhances its anionic compatibility. Sopal Quat 1216 has an advantage over quaternary ammonium cationic conditioners in that it rinses more readily from the hair and thereby prevents build-up or a "matted" feel.
