Sodium Laureth Sulfate (2M)

SCT-1056 is a sodium lauryl ether sulfate containing an average of 2 moles of ethylene oxide. SCT-1056 due to its high active ether sulfate offers economical storage of sodium laureth sulfate for dilution to the desired level in finished products. Final viscosity adjustments can be made using ammonium or sodium chloride.

Typical Uses:
SCT-1056 provides excellent foaming for personal care product formulations, viscosity response and foaming properties are enhanced by incorporating CMIPA, CDIPA or CMEA products in formulation. SCT-1056 contains no diluent solvents eliminating any fire hazards and additional engineering precautions.

Storage & Handling:
SCT-1056 is not believed to be hazardous material under current Department of Labor definitions. However, as with most surfactants, it is recommended that normal safety precautions be employed when handling SCT-1056.
